Jason Elliott serves as the Vice President, Client Experience, working with employer and government clients and their partners. Jason’s career began in clinical pharmacy, managing injectable drug policy and use management, but quickly shifted focus to employer analytics, helping plan sponsors integrate and expand a data-driven decision-making culture in their organizations, by supporting clients in pairing insightful analytics with real world business and population health problems. In his seven years at HDMS, Jason has helped clients improve clinical and financial outcomes in their populations through the use of advanced methodologies and creative problem-solving, serving his clients by leveraging his training and education at the University of Massachusetts as an epidemiologist.
Before joining HDMS, Jason worked at BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and BlueShield of Northeastern New York for over a decade, where he led the employer, clinical, and provider reporting teams. Jason’s work in assessing the impact of the Affordable Care Act on preventive care outcomes helped plan sponsors understand and plan for the evolution caused by that historic legislation. Throughout his career, and at HDMS, Jason has worked to expand LBGTQ health analytics and care access, to ensure that the needs of this community are represented and data regarding their unique health concerns are understood.
