Carol B. Ingher

Meet Carol, our CEO.

Carol B. Ingher is the Chief Executive Officer of HDMS. She is a trusted leader for companies that deliver digital innovation ignited by data, in the health benefits space.

There are 3 core beliefs Carol continuously ingrains in the products and services we offer, to help people be as healthy as they can be: whole person health, data-driven insights, the importance of quality personal interactions. With deep insights and measured impact our clients are removing barriers, reducing excess costs, and engaging communities and members, deliberately creating paths to better health.

Carol’s career spans over 3 decades in health care, building teams and excellence within client management, customer solutions, product management and delivery, and sales. She delivers growth through product innovation and high-quality client service.

Carol is also currently the CEO of ActiveHealth Management. Both Health Data & Management Solutions and ActiveHealth Management are part of the CVS Health family of companies.

Prior to HDMS leadership, Carol has been serving as a leader at ActiveHealth Management, focused on commercializing the digital health and well-being platform and care management services which are uniquely executed using data-drive insights. Prior she served as a region head and market head for Aetna.

Carol received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York–Albany and is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).

Jim Hinkle

Meet Jim, our Chief Client Officer.

Jim Hinkle is Senior Vice President of HDMS Sales and Client Experience. Under his leadership, the sales, account management, and consulting services teams deliver a client experience that sets HDMS apart. In an industry focused on being customer centric, Jim’s ultimate objective is more specific – bring clients peace of mind. This means consistently delivering on commitments, simplifying the complexities of health analytics, and empowering people with data-driven insights. From delivering unique solutions to innovating hand in hand with clients and partners, Jim empowers teams to think creatively, evaluate justly, and act with intent.

Prior to HDMS Jim served in executive healthcare positions at organizations such as Philips Healthcare, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), and Vizient in addition to innovative equity-backed organizations within the healthcare IT, software, and medical device space. Jim is a former US Marine officer. He received a Masters degree in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and is an alum of College of Charleston. Jim completed a Fellowship from the Veterans Health System and completed a Residency in managed care provider contracts from the Tenet Health system.

Keith Wilton

Meet Keith, our Head of Product.

Keith Wilton is the vice president of Products. He has over 15 years’ experience in Product Management with an emphasis on creating and deploying complex software applications. Keith joined HDMS in March 2016 after serving as Vice President of Product Management at Backstop Solutions, a leading player in the Alternative Investment space. Prior to Backstop, Keith ran product management for an arm of Morgan Stanley, and for other organizations. Keith received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Mark Magnuson

Meet Mark, our CTO.

Mark Magnuson is vice president and Chief Technology Officer at Health Data & Management Solutions, Inc. (HDMS). He has more than twenty years of operational, application development, and management leadership experience in the healthcare informatics industry.

Prior to joining HDMS, Mark was a Vice President at Solucient, L.L.C. where he directed the operations and application development activities for the Managed Care division. He has also served as a Principal at William M. Mercer in the National Healthcare Analysis Unit, directing the development of the CHAMP product which was used by both clients and local Mercer offices.

Mark has designed and implemented operational procedures and practices for collecting and processing healthcare data in ways that maximize the value of the information for data analysis. He has also contributed to the development of the first national data warehouse in the Worker’s Compensation market that integrates policy, claims, payment transaction, and medical detail from more than 40 national insurance companies nationwide.

Mark received his BA in Computer Science from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute, Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

Carol Telford

Meet Carol, our Head of Operations.

Carol Telford is Head of Data Operations and Application Support for HDMS. Her teams operate and support data ingestion and infrastructure, processing, monitoring as well as custom applications for all HDMS clients. Carol’s brings strong leadership and over 25 years of expertise with high performance, large operational analytic environments, including running Aetna’s Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Carol leads specialty teams who operate all data processing in support of any client solution.  Her passion to optimally organize, analyze, and leverage data to unlock business value is unquestionably clear from her team’s strengths across ingest, transformation, enrichment, to analytic output.  Ongoing performance optimization, governance and archiving services as well as quality management are additional areas where Carol and her teams add value to ensure HDMS clients are fully satisfied and can depend on a full set of services from a single trusted partner.  In addition, Carol leads the Help Desk Support team, staffed with specialists responsible for software or data inqueries, and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.

Serious stability and reliability is not only delivered into the technology systems Carol and her team support – with her wise and calm execution, this amazing set of employees rivals the client experience teams in terms of very high employee retention and satisfaction with their work.

Carol received her BA in Management Information Systems from Central Connecticut State University.

Melissa Speedie

Meet Melissa, our Chief Administrative Officer.

Melissa Speedie is the Chief Administrative Officer for HDMS. With her leadership, HDMS thrives with aligned strategic goals, internal governance and sustained organizational development.  Melissa leads the Business Transformation Office.  This team optimizes processes, coordinates resources, and handles special projects to ensure successful collaboration around major client milestones and R&D investments.  This is how HDMS delivers quality technology and services, with performance guarantees.  Right now, BTO is diving into new implementations, client migrations, and the HDMS journey to cloud and artifical intelligence. 

Melissa sponsors the Employee Engagement and culture initiatives that drive HDMS DNA and nourish our values: collaborative, curious, and committed.

Melissa holds a Master of Art-Ed and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance and is also Six-Sigma certified.

Brian Parrish

Meet Brian, our Chief Marketing Officer.

Brian Parrish is the Chief Marketing Officer for HDMS. Brian brings more than 20 years of health care marketing experience in agency and in-house settings. Previously, he served as vice president of marketing for The Craneware Group, a provider of revenue integrity and 340B drug pricing compliance solutions to nearly half of U.S. hospitals. Brian also helped grow Dodge Communications into a multi-million-dollar integrated agency serving more than 250 healthcare companies ranging from leaders in the public sector to early-stage startups.

Brian received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida State University. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two teenage daughters.
